Robert Downey Jr. is Sherlock Scones (9/16/2011)
Robert Downey Jr has been swerving the sausage rolls and coffee in plastic cups on the set of the new Sherlock Holmes film, A Game Of Shadows.
Instead the Hollywood star is venturing across London to Claridge’s during his tea breaks. Even though the Mayfair hotel charges £38 for afternoon tea, Robert can’t get enough of it.
A source said: “Whenever he has a bit of time off from filming, he heads straight to Claridge’s. “He’s been eating scones and cucumber sandwiches and washing it down with traditional English tea. Robert has brought along some of his pals too. He loves it there.”
Director Guy Ritchie was shooting with Robert in central London this week – including one fight scene.
He must have cleaned himself up before taking his seat alongside the other posh diners.
